Pulse isolator for transmission of signals to the safe area from NAMUR sensors and mechanical switches installed in the hazardous area. The 9202 has been designed, developed and certified for use in SIL 2 applications according to the requirements of IEC 61508.

The PR9202 is the first version of a complete system of intrinsically safe barriers approved to ATEX, FM and IECEx. In addition these are Sil 2 and DNV approved for marine use. They can be used "stand alone" or as part of a PR system using 9400 power supply and clip on power rail system.
