Magnetostrictive contactless linear position transducer - Gefran RK Series

The Gefran RK series is a revolutionary new design which allows the sensor to be mounted entirely within the cylinder. This is achieved by using a remote electronics package, and a very compact sensor detector arrangement. The design allows use of cylinders with Yokes - and this was not previously possible. Also the rod diameter is only 10mm and so there are few restrictions on the piston arrangement in smaller cylinders.

Applications are not restricted to mounting in cylinders. These sensors can be used for displacement in many industrial situations - including liquid level with floats.
