Strain gauge inputs from pressure sensors, load cells and other sources are processed along with potientiometer, resistance and process inputs from [say] magnetostrictive position sensors. The Gefran 40B is a low cost alternative to the 2400 and 2500 series for extrusion pressure - and includes the auto calibration function used by those sensors. The 40B can have up to 4 switch outputs and analog retransmit - with standard Gefran low voltage or high voltage power supply
