447The oil-filled melt pressure sensors, designed by Gefran on an extensometric technology, are suitable to work at high temperature, up to 315°C, assuring a total compliance with the maximum levels of accuracy and of reliability. Every single sensor of the W series, besides using a FDA approved filling fluid, if fully compliant with RoHS Directive.

Gefran is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of extrusion pressure sensors. They supply both mercury filled and FDA approved oil filled sensors in a wide variety of styles & control outputs. Common features:
  • Pressure ranges from 0-35 to 0-1000 bar / 0-500 to 0-15,000 psi
  • 3.3mV/V W3 series and 4-20mA WE series
  • Accuracy <±0.25% FSO (H); <±0.5% FSO (M)
  • Internally generated 80% calibration signal (R-Cal)
  • Fluid filled system for temperature stability
  • Oil filling meets FDA requirements CFR 178.3620 & CFR 172.878
