Wire and bead - ceramic sheath in type K, N and type R, and S for high temperatures. This style of sensor is made in many different designs and materials - especially alumina insulators and sheaths with rare metal probes. We can manufacture any type and include special outer sheaths such as Silicon Carbide. At the other extreme, pythagoras - a mullite material - is very economical and suits base metals and rare metals to 1200C. Call us to discuss your special design requirements
